Gay marriages and gay civil unions or partnerships across the world

Marriage is often next step to boundless love that one is sure of being true and pure. Straights go ahead with it and so must you! Why not? The commitment part may be scary but it is all the more unremittingly beautiful – a testament to the intensity and genuineness of your mutual feelings.

Though all countries allow marriages between a man and a woman, many countries in this advanced and scientific new era, still, are taking their time to accept that gays and lesbians are for real and need to get married. So, once you decide to get married, there are some countries you can choose from.

The institution of marriage is sacred and so the entire ceremony is utmost important. While destinations like South Africa, Spain, Canada, Norway, Belgium, Netherlands, California, New Jersey, New York and Massachusetts recognise homosexual marriages in totality, there are a host of countries that grant civil unions or partnerships to you, which is different than marriage in terms of limited rights than marriage.  Countries that allow legal civil partnerships between same sex partners include Croatia, Denmark, Finland, United Kingdom, France, Germany, Hungary, Mexico, Iceland, Luxembourg, Finland, New Zealand, Norway, Portugal, Switzerland, Sweden, New Hampshire, Connecticut,  Oregon, Vermont and Washington.

Further certain countries must be totally avoided, if you ever wish to get married during travelling or otherwise. Uganda, Latvia and Honduras explicitly ban same sex marriage and may put you behind bars upon doing so on their land. Pretty unreasonable, huh!

Best wishes to all LGBT´s who can marry in accepted venues. We are in hopes of the places that do not allow same sex marriage will eventually change their stances. There are more countries who are accepting than those who do not. All LGBT’s should have the right and privilege to be civilly-wed to their partners via marriage, civil union or partnership, world wide, period. http://www.civillywedd.com is there for you!

You know, sometimes I get so angry with this “supposed” great country that I live in…the United States of America.

I don’t quite understand why other countries get it, but the country who wants to claim they are the best country in the world can’t give each and everyone of their citizens the same right.

They, apparently, think the world may end or gay marriage would have a horrible impact on society. I’d like to ask them….did life in Canada end? did life in Spain end? Norway? Belgium, etc. etc. How is if that these non-US countries can still funtion properly after allowing gay marriage but ummm the US wouldn’t be able to?

Get real America! Put your religion to rest once and for all and understand that ALL Americans deserve the same CIVIL RIGHTS!
